First vice president
Andre Iguodala joined the board of the NBPA Foundation in February, 2019 when he was elected First Vice President of the NBPA. He was born in Illinois and attended the University of Arizona. He was selected as the ninth pick in the 2004 NBA draft by Philadelphia. Andre was a member of the United States national team in the 2010 FIBA World Championship, winning the gold medal. He was also a member of the Team USA squad that won the gold medal in the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.
As a member of the Golden State Warriors, Andre has won three NBA championships and earned the Finals MVP Award in 2015.
In addition to his basketball career, Andre is involved in the tech industry in the US and in Africa as both an investor and as a mentor to other players who want to learn more about the industry.
