Santiago “Santi” Aldama is a professional basketball player for the Memphis Grizzlies and a passionate advocate for youth empowerment through sport. Born in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain, Santi’s journey from the courts of his hometown to the global stage of the NBA is a powerful example of dedication, resilience, and belief in the transformative power of opportunity.

After emerging as one of the top talents at Loyola University Maryland and earning All-Patriot League honors, Santi was selected as the 30th overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft. Every summer, he returns to Gran Canaria to host his annual youth basketball camp—a hands-on, immersive experience where he trains, mentors, and connects with aspiring players.
