The Business of Giving
The NBPA Foundation launched The Business of Giving in May 2019 at UCLA. The Business of Giving is an intensive two-day accredited course that educates participants on the evolving business of philanthropy. The program fulfills the Foundation’s vision of engaging the power of education to support our players in transforming lives, businesses and communities globally. Participants were introduced to the challenges and opportunities that are presented by thinking strategically about charitable giving. They received expert advice from UCLA professors, industry professionals, and current and former players while working through various case-studies of how others have organized their giving successfully.
