Erika Swilley is currently serving as the Executive Director of the Foundation at the National Basketball Players Association (NBPA), bringing with her a wealth of experience from her philanthropic endeavors with organizations such as the Detroit Pistons, Golden State Warriors, Chicago Sky & Sky Cares Foundation, and Detroit Shock.

In her current role, Swilley spearheads the coordination and strategic direction of the NBPA Foundation, spotlighting and amplifying the global initiatives of professional basketball players in community building and driving positive change through charitable endeavors and social entrepreneurship.

Swilley's contributions have earned her prestigious appointments such as serving on the Michigan Governor’s Task Force on Women in Sports and receiving the National Association of Secretaries of State (NASS) Medallion Award, in acknowledgment of her contributions to promoting voting rights. Additionally, Swilley has been named a "Woman of Excellence" by the Michigan Chronicle in 2009 and has been recognized as a "Who's Who" in Black Detroit in 2010, and Detroit's 40 Under 40 in 2018.

Originally hailing from Chicago, Illinois, Swilley is a proud alumna of the University of Missouri-Columbia.
