Grants and Data Analyst

Ionie is a recent graduate M.P.H of the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University. She focused her studies and work on mental health, social policy, food access/inequity, and health equity. During her time, she conducted program and organizational evaluations to identify opportunities for growth and community capacity building. This work often assisted the organizations in obtaining grants, changing policy, and improving relationships with their communities through advocacy.

As a research assistant at the Emory Prevention Research Center, Ionie conducted qualitative research to identify multi-level facilitators and barriers to HPV vaccination in Southwest Georgia. Within this role, she researched and evaluated existing interventions to compile provider- and health system-level toolkits. These toolkits, paired with $15,000 grants, were utilized by local clinics in their efforts to improve HPV vaccination rates.
